Title: Anybody going to Martinsville
Post by: WH_Conley on March 12, 2005, 11:45:26 AM
Is anybody going to the NASCAR race in Martinsville Va. in April?

Only vacation we take, already had tickets or might have opted for the Piggy roast instead.

They are both good races, you can see all the way around the track without binoulars, Martinsville is cheaper on tickets and the atmosphere in the campground is more neighborly, before the arguments start I have only been to Bristol one time and maybe we just did not have a good place to camp. My son-in-law goes to Bristol almost every race and they have found camping on private property, he says the people are great hosts and make everyone feel at home. I have never seen a stranger at Martinsville, just some people I had not met before.
