Title: Went to Indy to WM
Post by: Cedarman on March 14, 2005, 11:42:55 AM
My forward control switch broke a post on Fri and when it did it ended up blowing a circuit board. Didn't get this figured out until Sat morn with WM tech support help.  Too late to go to Indy Sat, so showed up at their door just after 8 this morning. They knew I was coming.  Talk about service.  They had my part laying on the counter ready to go. I took back a part that had been shipped a couple of weeks ago and I did'nt need.  Gene from WM took care of everything very quickly.

Randy Panko took some time and visited with me, gave me a quick tour, took a look at their production LT70.  Wish we had logs big enough to need one. Then showed me their new edger. 30 horse motor, will cut 4 inch wood. Nice thing it has a feed regulator that auto feed speeds base on amp pull down.  Feed and go.

WM simply has the best service of any company we deal with. They are always pleasant and most importantly do their very best to solve whatever problem we have.  I never saw hickory, but have a small hickory order to do.I don't pay attention to all the different blade styles. In a few minutes Randy had me fixed up and ready to go.

If it sounds like I'm blowing WM horn I am.  Along with a very dependable mill they have the service to go with them. That's why we own 2 LT's and 2 resaws from them.
Thanks Randy, thanks Gene and thanks WM.

PS  Randy's son won his class in state wrestling tournament. Congratulations

Cederman,

Even though I don't saw full time for a living it sure is nice to have that customer service. Sure was helpful when I was starting out a couple of years ago. Training at the plant was also helpful.
