Talon 38cc- pooling bar oil. Adjustment screw or bigger issue?
I have trying to get this chainsaw starting and running properly. I seem to have that sorted .

However , I took the bar off in order to safely run the saw and make idle and L / H adjustments. Whilst I have been running and  adjusting the carbs,  It is then that I noticed at least 10 +mls of oil pooling under the unit. It clean oil and Im sure coming from the bar.

Is this normal? Is there an adjustment screw for this?

Dunno about the screw. Consumer saws tend to not have adjustment, and I'm not familiar with that saw. If you're running the saw though, it should pump oil whether a bar is on or not. Some saws will also leak a bit after shutoff.

With no bar on it the oil has nowhere to go but pool under the saw
