Hi- Was this saw ever available in the North American market? I read some about in the Arborist Site when I was lurking over there the other day. It's not listed on the current Stihl website, but it listed in Europe.
It was but didn't sell, too close in price to the MS261. A good saw but we couldn't give them away.
I have one but wish i had a second 261 with a 16 in bar like the 241 has to go with my 261 with a 20 in bar. very good saw but like the 261 better . I bought it to replace a ms250.
Yep, my 74yo neighbor has one.
He likes it because it's lighter than my 261.
He's clearing storm damage with it right now.

Like Trapper, I bought a 241 to replace a ms250, it is my go to saw for most occasions. When there is lots of brush work and tops to clean up it excels for me...

When felling and bucking up bigger stuff i use my ms261 c-m, it is better suited at that for me...

Makes a good two-saw system in my situation.

Not the first thing I missed out on, I'll get over it.
Thanks for the answers, guys.
