We survived the SCU wildfire. Hundreds of Digger/white pines did not. I have stacks of logs 10' long and probably a hundred trees or so still standing. The bark is charred, the trunks are untouched. I'm throwing anything less than about 6-8" in a burn pile the bigger stuff is up for grabs.
