Title: Buying Timberjack 360
Post by: Timberjack5 on November 04, 2020, 03:44:05 PM
G'day Fellas
Hope you are all well.
I haven't been on the forum for a few months. Had a lot of work on and have been going hard.
As some of you know I've had a goal to buy a Timberjack, here in Australia they don't come up very often, never the less one has come up and it's a good one, built in the 70's with 135hp gm and powershift. Everything working, new brakes and has a power tilt blade which was an option from new in Aust.
Jeff who I have bought it from is a great guy. He has a Facebook site Timberjack downunder to connect owners and enthusiasts in this country, A diesel fitter by trade. I have paid him site unseen and he is now spending the next fortnight servicing and prepare the machine work ready when he is not at his day job.
Anyway I'm very excited, I've got to get it freighted about 1000 miles but that's all par for the coarse when you want something.
Having trouble uploading photos so I've added the link for the advertisement that has photos.
