Hey y'all. How about a timber frame workshop to celebrate the new year!? January 18-23 in North Wilkesboro, NC. I'll be hosting, and Jim Rogers will be the instructor. (This is a follow-up to a workshop Jim taught in mid-November.)
Using square rule layout technique Jim will teach the basic mortise and tenon joint, brace pockets, peg hole draw boring, and scarf joint layout and cutting. After all the pieces are cut, Jim will teach fit-up techniques, and then on the last day we'll raise the barn. Daily lunch included. Cost is $650. $125 deposit reserves your spot. Balance due. Jan 4th. Please email me for more info. ckprivette@gmail.com
