New here--thanks for having me in the forum. And thanks in advance for advice!
Bought my property a couple years ago and was lucky enough that a wood mizer LT15 came with it.
It was not running and took a lot of work to get going again (animal had made its home in the engine and required a new harness, fuel pump, carb, new lines, etc etc... and the blade and track had to be tuned and leveled.)
In any case, i finally got it going with my brother's help. A few days later, my brother and a buddy were making some initial cuts for some beams and when rolling a beam off the track, they misjudged clearances and the beam rolled into the idle side post (it was a couple of hundred pound beam, so it wasn't insignificant and knocked the idle side post off track.)
I was able to get it back on track, and it seems to still ride well and cut well, but I have a few questions:
1) I see that I am missing some of the scrapers and felt wipers on the idle side. Tried looking them up to order from WoodMizer but the part numbers wouldn't bring up anything. Anyone have a good source for these?
2) I found this bolt and what looks like a little spacer or roller near the mill. Not sure if it is actually part of the mill. Any ideas? (see first pic)
3) I know the retaining bracket on the idle post is upside down (found it that way from previous owner), but any other things I should look at after bumping that post?

The idle side post has a roller in the bottom of it. It just rolls on the idle side bed section beam. The wipers need to be on there to keep the the beam clear of debris. That way the roller rolls smoothly. Maybe what you found is the roller.

You might want to give Woodmizer a call with the serial number of your LT15. That way you can register it and they should be able to provide you with the necessary information.

I agree with the above and would like to add that you should try to get a set of manuals that would have gone to the original owner. Also inquire about special tools for checking blade alignment, drive belt tension, etc.
Unless you have someone that can sharpen your blades, you might also want to inquire about W-M's ReSharp program.

I do have manuals (got electronic set from wood mizer). I had trouble loading pics yesterday, but finally have a pic of the mystery piece (first two pics) and the idle side post with the retaining bracket upside down (third pic).
