I'm making a modern shop using a butterfly roof. quick reason is water catchment easy, and passive solar low roof warmth.
first pic isn't complete.
Anyway I feel like using some modified joinery for the bents. as the roof will want to lift
in high winds, here we gust to 60. i plan on screwing the rafters to the bents.
posts to girt, i am looking for minimal slick work more circular saw cutting. so i dont want to use a
scarf joint, i am not an advanced wood worker.
Any ideas, i am open to constructive criticism.
