Our woodturning club has created 5 videos aimed at the entry level wood turner. We identified several months ago that there was a need for this information. Topics currently include:
1. Introduction for the brand new woodturner
2. Choosing a Wood Lathe (25 minutes)
3. Wood lathe tolls for the beginner
4. Sharpening Wood Lathe Tools
5. Lathe Accessories for the beginner
They may all be viewed here (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChT4SAd6rhAWXsu76aBJXFA) on YouTube.
If you take the time to check them out, what do you think should be more topics?
Thanks. Passed it along to a friend who wants to get into bowl turning.

The demonstration for February 16 is "the Golden Mean and its application in woodturning"
The March 16 demo will cover "Spalting , what it is and how to do it"
If any of you would like to attend, PM me for credentials to join.
