Title: Good Momentary Switches For A Multiplier Valve
Post by: theog1968 on June 26, 2021, 09:17:15 PM
Hi Everyone! I recently purchased a 42" Farma Bush Grapple for my John Deere 35G and the button (momentary switch) to activate the multiplier valve is terrible. It lasted 5 minutes before it fell apart (literally). I have now been in search of a good button to replace it. I have purchased all kinds of buttons and all have been epic fails. The button is mounted in the left joystick of a John Deere 35G Excavator.  I am probably doing something wrong here, but it seems to me that a good, solid, button that can take quite a bit of punishment is not an easy find.  None the less, any ideas? I've spoken w/ my John Deere dealer and they're trying to sell me an expensive, well we all know how dealers are...

It's exactly this one:

Yeah all that stuff has gone to offshore turd.  Universal keyed ignition switches are terrible.  Fuses and bulbs last longer for me.

Try digikey.com for a usa made switch.  I thankfully stripped a lot of that out of good scrapped machinery but my supply is dwindling fast.
