Title: Hickory table
Post by: Den-Den on August 01, 2021, 07:12:43 PM
I made this Hickory table for a relative, it is 10 ft 5 inches long.  I cut down a dead Hickory on their place, milled it up and built the table after drying the lumber.  It had bug holes, spalting and other character.  I filled the defects with black epoxy.

That's awesome ! Did you make the brackets to hold the legs together ?

Yes the brackets are home-made.  They are simple, pieces of 3" pipe with a few holes.
