Title: Kindling
Post by: Magicman on October 12, 2021, 12:43:24 PM
There are many colloquial terms used for fat lighter kindling such as lighered, etc.

After getting my firewood stacked yesterday it was time for me to split some kindling.

That will be more than enough to keep me going.  I used the handaxe shown here:  Handaxe (https://forestryforum.com/board/index.php?topic=112274.msg1759523#msg1759523)

I don't like it when you start posting these heater type posts MM. It reminds me of how far behind I am every year.  ;D

Suppose to be a big cold mass heading this way from the Lakes. ;D Ours usually comes off James Bay. Got lots of wood, but working on next winter's supply as soon as the weather cools off. It's in the 70's here now, not firewood cutting weather. Leaves are dropping here despite no wind, no rain and not cold. Darn sun thing. :D
