Engine full of water.
Seized and rusted solid
after working on it of and on all summer finally got it running
Never knew what i was missing , Had a old home made hand crank push mill
Illl never go back
had alot of down time waiting on parts from Deutz
Deutz doesn't produce this engine anymore so parts were hard to find
FYI after i got them i found out Kohler Produces this exact engine
You folks have inspired me to do some upgrades - Setworks is done from scratch
(that should probably be another post)

Well done and welcome.
Can't beat an old field find. Welcome, hope to see more pics of your mill. I have never seen a TH in person.
Great find.. please fill in your profile so we know what area you are from, and age if inclined.
Thanks

That is a beautiful mill, and I am so glad you have spent the time to restore it. These machines were built properly and with long-lived parts choices and good solid design and engineering. I'm not surprised you were able to get this running again. I have the 30ht25 that i bought new in 2003, and I just disassembled the clamps on mine this weekend to fix up a little gear slipping problem with the far clamp. I'd buy another one if I could.
Best of luck,
eric
Still have a ways to go but its a start now i can play
PS Bob, that's a nice looking mill!! Very similar to my TH36ht25 but mine is gas. Have you had to do any adjustments on the carriage lift chains? I had to replace my gear box and can't get it to stay in adjustments or get it quiet right. Looking for any hints, tricks I can get!! Thanks.
