Hi all, longtime lurker first-time poster here,
I've been playing around with the idea of building a circular sawmill and they aren't something readily available in my country. I know I can get a woodland mill delivered to my door here but please, let a man dream :D. Does anyone know where I'd be able to get my hands on the book mentioned in the title? I've searched high and low on the internet but can't find a single copy. If there's a member with a copy they'd be happy to get rid of, send me on a message and I'm sure we can work a deal out.

For years I looked for plans for hydraulic sawmill dogs, in fact that is why I came here. I never found anything anywhere.  Years ago people would go to a sawmill builder and buy the parts that they could not make like the setworks.  They probably had pieces of an old mill to work with or somebody down the road had a mill they could copy.    If there is a will there is a way. Where would you get the saw and the parts to keep it running?  Who would hammer it for you?  You can almost copy from sawmill brochures but that is not quite enough. can't help you on the book, but for some ideas on home built circle sawmill look up topper machine LLc on you tube. He is in Spooner Wi. and has built an impressive mill but it took him eight years because paying jobs got in the way and  where did you say you were located? Might help for people to respond.
