Everything had been working fine. I was on my 4th log of the day when for no apparent reason that I could tell the carriage quit going up or down. Then I noticed my Simple Set screen wasn't working. It had previously worked. Please tell me this is a simple fix. I read the manual for trouble shooting in this area but my specific problem wasn't listed. I'm hoping it's just a breaker somewhere. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Does your panel light up or give any readings at all?
I have 2 breakers at the bottom of the control panel on my LT35HD and assume you do too. Have you checked both of them?
If that does not help you may try disconnecting then reconnecting the battery. It may not help but it sure won't hurt anything. I once had a SS issue and that fixed it. It just rebooted and has run right ever since.
Good luck. Let us know what you find.
Screen does nothing. No lights or anything.
Take the cover off below the lube tank. There will be a grey box on the end of the gear box shaft. This is the encoder and it should have a small red light on it. If you can use compressed air to blow any dust from the shaft/encoder connection. If there is no light, check wiring connections.
