The poor old beech don't stand a chance along with nectaria bark disease.

Has the beech leaf mining weevil reached New Brunswick yet? It's infested most of Central/Eastern Nova Scotia. The weevil mines the leaf as it begins to flush out. The tree begins to shed the heavily damaged leaves come mid-July, many of them are leafless now.
