40 years ago a neat seasoned lady gave me her recipe for pickled green maters. Her's were a thing of legend around town.
I lost the recipe and she is long gone.
Anyone have a good recipe?

Not that I like pickled maters. Even the fried version while a comfort food, mostly the flavor comes after they color up, no when green.
Wife did a couple jars of pickled okra (DIL food) which is similar in that full flavor comes not pickled in a gumbo or soup.
