Title: Central Boiler 1450 / Beckett AquaSmart 7600
Post by: 10mmJ on December 29, 2022, 12:17:45 PM
I have a 9 y/o central boiler 1450 owb , inside I have a Peerless Boiler with a Beckett AquaSmart 7600 .  The gentleman that installed my system passed away within 2 months of the install  .

Should I be changing the settings on the AquaSmart summer/winter ?

Reason I ask is that my inside propane boiler still kicks on throughout the day and seems like my house never really gets above 68 even with the wall thermostat maxed out on high  .

Is there a way to just use the owb in the winter w/o the indoor boiler kicking on through a setting on the AquaSmart ?
High/Low limits ?
High/low diff?
Economizer on/off?

Im pretty sure the problem is the thermostatic valve .

I'll replace the thermostat p/n 1740 tomorrow and after heating season that thing is coming off .

Anyone else have any issues with the thermostatic valve ?
