Both my Husky 562 and Jonsy 2171 run .058 chains and bars.
I have some .050 chains and bars from an old Jonsy 2255.
Is it just a matter of switching the drive sprocket to .050 to use them or is there more involved?
Sprocket is the same, you will need a 50 gauge bar.
Yep, you'd have to get bars to match.
That's right. The 2255 bar has a smaller tail pattern (Oregon K095) which won't fit.
Ok , that does make it a non starter.
Is there an adapter made to change it or does the bar need to be modified or ????
Gonna need to get yourself a large mount bar. How many chains you have will determine if it's worth it or not.
Is that .325 pitch on the small mount bar?
