A successful experiment from 2020 & 2021, in the thick of BC's wildfire smoke. A smoke particle is 7 times bigger than a covid-19 virus particle.
If you've got any N-95 masks lying around, they will filter the smoke completely. I prefer to use the kind with an exhaust valve -- instantly gets rid of the air you're exhaling and protects you against the smoke when inhaling.
