I have not seen any media mention of the 78th anniversary of the end of WWII in Europe. Are the sacrifices made by our parents and grandparents no longer relevant? I will be hoisting a glass at the local Royal Canadian Legion later to honor those that served, my late father being one.
That isn't part of the narrative these days, it honors people who gave selflessly of themselves with dignity and honor. Not to mention having manhood to do what was required. Instead it is rely on the government to give it to you and tell you what to think. Plus the destruction of any sign of masculinity.
Up to us to remember them even if the media doesn't. Freedom wasn't free.

Yes, 14 in the last two years. Many were of Prime Minister McDonald, a couple of monarchs and several others. Mainly during protests over residential school atrocities. For that you can hardly blame them for it. These types of things have gone on across the globe in many countries. It festers and stews and people have long memories.
A glimpse inside the sole of a survivor.
