I need to make 13 brackets like the one pictured below out of 2" sq tubing for an Escher-style staircase I'm building. Having a little trouble laying out some the angle cuts. Thought maybe the collective wisdom of the FF folks could be helpful.

Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.
Which rod are you using? ;D
Nope sorry, got nothin' for ya on that one. :D
Let us know how you make out.
The longer I look at that picture the more confused I get.
Penrose triangle optical illusion. Built one a long time ago. Had it in the shop for many years until one day I needed the tubing for something.

Same here, thought I was going crazy 8) 8)
I had to build like 20-30 of these for my never ending staircase. :D

Rusticretreater, I originally calculated 29 required but then I substituted a möbius escalator for one section of stairs. :)
After mastering that, the next skills test is assembling an IKEA 8 drawer cabinet. smiley_thumbsup
