Title: New score, Jonsereds bar
Post by: donbj on October 04, 2023, 11:49:08 PM
Score of the day today. Was snooping around the local Husky dealer's showroom today and this jumped out at me hanging on the wall with all the other bars. The manager was walking by and said hi and I asked him where this came from. He said it has been laying in the back of the shop for at least 15 years with a bunch of other stuff they were cleaning up and hung it on the wall. He never knew about the "s" at the end of Jonsered in the beginning up until the early 80's. I said I'm buying it!. I know him well and he knows I am a collector and he appreciated the info. He even gave me a "collector's discount" :D. Got it for $40. 18" windsor, 3/8th pitch. Will look real nice on that 49SP though I don't think I'll cut with it.

 8) That appears to be a Windsor bar, iirc the plant was in Burnaby.

Cool and Good-looking bar and a great price.  It is nice when you find quality old stuff that is in great condition.
