Title: Jockey grinder question
Post by: lumberjake on March 09, 2024, 12:47:11 PM
I recently switched to carbides on and f style saw. I ran regular steel teeth on a b style and the jockey worked great. But when I put the diamond wheel in to try and sharpen the carbides nothing seemed to line up right. Do you need a different guide when using a f style saw? I tried putting washers under the wheel to move it up a bid seems like the collar on the wheel is thinner I dunno any help would be appreciated thanks

You should be able to make it work somehow. I have used diamond on 2 different saw jockey's  ant it was tricky to make them line up  under a tooth and not hit something but you can do it. I will look at mine before dark.
