Here is one of the 1st released photos of the Lovstuen Buck. It is more
than likely going to be the largest buck taken by a hunter in the World.
Rough score is 322 inches. It was taken in Albia Iowa by this 15 year
old Lovstuen boy with a Knight muzzleloader during the youth deer
season. Latest is that Cabelas has offered him $2.5 million to display it at oneof their stores. This picture along with an article is in the January issue of the Iowa Fish and Game Magazine.

That sure is a nice buck Don. Funny thing is I've been deer hunting here since I was 14, I have never seen a non-typical rack in all of those years. Seen some big bucks though, must be all the corn I'm feeding them whether I want to or not. :D
Did the lad take the offer?
I was wondering the same thing.
Weeeell, If that were mine, Cabelas would have that mount so fast their eyes would cross! :D

If he didn't, his parents need to be slapped for ignorance :-)
Nobody offered him an investment opportunity? smiley_sun
Just sitting here going through some of the old post and ran across this...
I'm not sure if this is the same one but I know there was another very large buck shot in Iowa and Cabela's etc. offered money...sadly someone broke into the home and stole the rack etc.
