Title: Chain lube inside of edger
Post by: DocGP on September 11, 2024, 10:48:30 AM
What are the thoughts on the best chain lube for inside the edger??

Would atf be as good as anything, or would a dry lube chain spray be better?

Thoughts appreciated.

I just use ATF on my edger chains and the shafts that all of the collars slide on.

Any lube will help. I use the ATF as it is thinner and all of the sawdust doesn't stick to it, like it would with a thicker oil. I buy whatever is cheapest in 5 gal. buckets and put it in a pump up sprayer.
