Title: LT70 at work
Post by: KWood255 on October 30, 2024, 09:52:12 PM
I have about 50 hours on the new LT70 now. The controls have taken a while to get the hang of, but that was expected. This thing is very impressive! As much as I enjoyed both my LT35 and LT40, I would not want to go back.

I have a few updates to do around the mill shed with roller tables and other handling improvements. Hopefully an EG200 will be parked next to the 70 soon.

The power and speed is incomparable to my previous mills. I have no complaints to date.

Cut an order of 60 3x8x16's in about 4 hours total, including prep and cleanup, plus a pile of 1" to resaw. As I get more comfortable on the controls, my hourly rate will no doubt increase a little more.

Good work!
The photo is an edge view, but those boards look nearly clear.
Grade sawing some hefty rafters ?

Thank you Sir, not sawing for grade, just blessed with some real nice mature Jack pine. Hard to find these nowadays!
