Post by: thecfarm on November 04, 2024, 05:27:17 AM
Shot a deer on Saturday at 7:30, on my land.
A 115 doe.
Hauled it out with the golf cart.

How old is your grandson? Any help from Grandpa? Well done. We love details.

25 I think. I lose track of age when they get out of school.  :wink_2:
He didn't need no help from me.
He's been hunting since he was older to hold a gun.
I have gone up with the tractor a few times.
He could of drove his truck to it.
I think he just wanted to play with the golf cart.  ffcheesy
He can shoot 2 more deer. He bought another tag for this area, and he won a lottery for the other tag.
Years ago, here in Maine, you were allowed only one deer.
It's getting hard to hunt around this area of Maine.
With posted land and houses being built.
I have 170 acres for them to enjoy and up on Gordon hill is another big area and I do mean big, miles.
They set up game cameras to see the wildlife.
He has one behind the house, looking at my sawmill.
We came home the other day and Brenda, my wife, saw a bobcat down by the mill. A few minutes later the Grandson text his grandmother and told her about the bob cat.
