Does anyone have a good place to get rid of old lithium rechargeable batteries? I have a handful of tired Milwaukee ones that need to be gone?
I believe both Home Depot and Lowe's will take them
I'm not sure if the same rules apply in your area or not but any place that sells what is considered "hazardous waste " in my area is required by law to take it back and recycle/properly dispose of the item. As an example Napa is required to take used drain oil back. They certainly don't advertise it but when asked they will take it.
Our county solid waste container site takes all types of batteries and electric devices.
Thanks I will try the store, we dont have much of a county recycling, it's mostly cardboard and plastic locally.
