Member York has passed away. I credit him for my interest in milling, I worked one summer sawing with him when I was 18. Albert was a paid fireman in our local small city. He had a great sense of humor, we had a lot of fun that summer.
I'm feeling real bad that I haven't talked with him in a couple years. He lived less than 2 miles away, no excuse.
I'll post the obit when it's available.

This is getting hard. Thank you York.
Darn it. I know what you mean, I have neighbors I haven't stopped and seen in years. Where does the time go? Rest in peace, York.
Sorry for your loss. Sounds like you have some good memories of him so for that you can be thankful.
Yeah, it sucks as we get older, we see how many of our old schoolmates have passed, the actors we grew up with are dying or looking way too old or are unable to make movies anymore. Makes you feel old and know your clock is ticking.
I don't think I talked to him but that's a bummer.
I have a neighbor that I've spoken of several times here and I'm the same. He's pretty old and in rough shape from bustin' his butt all the time. I think he may have passed within the past couple months, I haven't seen or heard from him in a while. He's a cool old fella.
Always a heavy loss, especially as we, ourselves are getting older!
RIP York!
Godspeed York.
Prayers for comfort for his friends and family!
The old timers of my FIL's generation are pretty much gone from our community. They used to visit from time-to-time, either just drop by or come to lend a hand on the farm.
Seems like the next generations don't visit like that anymore. Probably because we typically had/have "public jobs" (non farm jobs).
Now I don't even know who some of my neighbors are.
Yet another casualty of progress.
Prayers sent with sympathy.
Sending thoughts and prayers.
Rest in peace way up there on high, York.
Sorry for your loss, so many of us are close, Rita's brother died back on the 2nd, he was 88.
Prayers for his friends and family. Stark reminder

I knew a Walter Miller up here to. He was a WWII vet. He's buried near my great grand father in Caverhill, N.B., who married a Miller and they moved to Houlton, Maine to work. The old woman is buried in Houlton, that's near where the kids were born and raised, like grandmother. I'm related to Millers on both sides of the family, but 2 generations back.
