Title: LT 70 Tensioner Question
Post by: Dewey on February 12, 2025, 03:29:15 PM
The hose on my LT 70 tensioner started leaking..  We tightened the hose but think We may have to add oil.
I looked in manual I can't find anything about it..
I have two assumptions
1. Fill it by removing plug on top of Cylinder.
2. I probably can use ATF or Tractor hydraulic  oil.

Another question would be can you over fill ?

LT40  tensioner fill plug is on the top of the handle assembly.  Don't know about over filling a 70.  Give the guys in Hannibal, New York a call. Click on the Wood-Mizer sponsor flag to get their phone number.

I ended up calling WM... Fill 2/3 full with premium grade simplex 150 hydraulic oil..
