Title: Survivor 48

Here we go again!

Thank You Bill for starting this one up.  For a first night, I enjoyed last night's episode.

Of course I saw some "taking credit" where none was due on solving the idol lock, but it's all entertainment.  Maybe they will move old roll eyes on down the road.  ffcheesy

Seems to be all city people. I guess they are discriminating against us country folk.  Will see how it goes.  Not the best bunch in my book. They did kick the right person off though.

Good game.  At least 'roll eyes' played her immunity idol which levels the playing field.

I was hoping to see her go.
SA says people like that are needed to keep us riled up through out the game.

I think they took out a strong player and their team is not doing very well. We'll see how it plays out. Nice move getting that idol out too.

I predict the loser team is down to 3 after next tribal council.
Will be a lot of idol hunting in that group.

Well that was interesting but not surprising and old wobble eyes lives to see another day.  I hated to see the outcome but the luck of the draw prevailed with the dice.

I think he's going to regret that choice.

We enjoyed last night's episode.  The tribal was predictable but very surprising to the looser.  ffsmiley

You know they were surprised when they leave with an unused advantage that could have saved him.

Yup, that was funny.  I saw that old wobble eyes is still wobbling in her new tribe.  That mouth will either do her in or make her win.  Depends upon how much control that she has.

Can't believe she just found the advantage. :veryangry:

That was an intense Immunity Challenge.  Wobble Eye survived because apparently she is not perceived as a threat.  They kept throwing the camera on Charity so I was not surprised that she left.

Just as the last votes was about to be read my cable blipped.

Wobble eyes came close to being booted but not close enough.

Two good moves;  Wobble eyes gone and Cedrick on the Jury.

I suspect that there will be some surprising blindsides in the future shows.

It's a good thing they got wobble eyes off before jury selection.

There are two strong dudes this time.  Great challenge.
Loved the twofer that happened this time.
Starting to enjoy the show again.

Yes, we are enjoying this series.

I just hope that a few weaklings don't join together and vote the strength off.

I was rooting for and was proud of Eva.

Loose lips will get you a walk, bye Crissy.

It's hard for me to picture her [crissy] in command of a fire truck and crew..

I've been hoping from the beginning, that Eva would do well in the competitions, and last night her perseverance paid off!

Congrats Eva!    :sunny:   ffcool

It looked like she was about done when the other chick quit.

Yes, she was about done but she was not going home anyway.  She needed the win to boost her self confidence.   ffsmiley

I think the next person I want voted off is muscle-head Dave.

His strongmen to the end doesn't make sense. I'd think it would be better for him to get rid of them.

He was getting pretty hot going after Kyle for doing the same thing he is doing by protecting his girl.

I'm liking this season. Wish there was a "Natalie" though.

Strong men will be eliminated when it is PUZZLE time.
Enjoying this season now, more than at the beginning.

Another blind side for sure, but even then, he had a strong premonition.  That fast talking lawyer Kyle is controlling the game without anyone realizing what he is doing.
Title: Re: Survivor 48
Post by: Cedarman on April 24, 2025, 06:53:46 AM
David could very well have won.  I bet he is still thinking about the lost chance for a million.  One little lapse and his ball fell.  I wish some of the slackers would get voted off.
Title: Re: Survivor 48
Post by: Magicman on April 24, 2025, 07:46:20 AM
David had the other players figured out but no one would believe him.  I wonder how many more Kyle will take out before it is too late?

The slackers are not a threat and are just ignored and carried along.  The problem with them is that they have votes and those votes could cost the real players the game.
Title: Re: Survivor 48

Definitely a blind-side!
Title: Re: Survivor 48
Post by: Magicman on May 01, 2025, 08:40:33 AM
It appeared that Star left of her own will.  She certainly was not playing an active game, and only wanted to "smack talk" when interviewed.

Mary is weak and no threat.  Joe is a threat and is a marked man.  Kyle is not necessarily my favorite, but he is playing an active and seemingly effective game.  He will be hard to beat.
Title: Re: Survivor 48
Post by: Cedarman on May 02, 2025, 06:47:41 AM
If it looks like Joe will go, will Eva play her save a survivor idol on him?
Title: Re: Survivor 48
Post by: Magicman on May 02, 2025, 07:46:03 AM
Absolutely I think, but the gotcha is the lying and deceit.  If Kyle plays "undercover" like he is fully capable of, it will be a blindside.
Title: Re: Survivor 48
Post by: Raider Bill on May 08, 2025, 05:32:40 AM
Imo, they missed their chance at Joe.
Dumb.
Muscle head Dave's stand up at the end was a first.
Title: Re: Survivor 48
Post by: Cedarman on May 08, 2025, 07:00:21 AM
It seemed like the whole show was about voting Joe off.  Producers did a good job of that.  Funny in the end they all voted for Mary.  Now the fun begins again.  Will Mitch be next?
Title: Re: Survivor 48

The real drama starts!
Title: Re: Survivor 48
Post by: Magicman on May 08, 2025, 08:16:30 AM
To say that I was totally shocked would be an understatement.  The producers played Joe the entire time which I actually thought was going to happen.

Eve's advantages should seriously make a difference now because her time is running short when they are playable.  Those plus individual immunity will determine the final four.

The jury seems different this season.  They come in all serious and don't hardly smile.  In past seasons the juries seem to be a lot more upbeat.

I think that we are in for a (some) surprise(s) tomorrow night.

Title: Re: Survivor 48
Post by: Raider Bill on May 14, 2025, 06:52:59 AM
Only 2 night left.
So let's throw in who we think will win.
Joe and Eva are the 2 front runners, I'd like to see her win but I'm going Kyle.
Title: Re: Survivor 48
Post by: Magicman on May 14, 2025, 07:58:35 AM
I will also sorta predict that either or both Joe and Eva will be in the final 4 depending upon personal immunity.  I think that Eva's advantages have to be played before 4.  Kyle is not my favorite but he is playing the game so I predict that he will also be there.

Of course weaker players will be carried along just for their numbers.

Tonight could be a "two go" night.
Title: Re: Survivor 48

Without question, Joe's personal immunity saved his neck and Kyle was a successful lying lawyer.  Hopefully Joe now realizes what took place but you gotta give Kyle credit for being believable and successful.

Going to be a bloodbath next week!

Kyle is a party of three but Eva's immunity and advantage will probably even the score.  I am looking forward to next week.

To me, this has been one of the better series.

Mitch and Camila are toast unless one win immunity.
Let's see how sweet talking Kyle does in the end

Tonight we see!
3 hour special, let's see how many can go the distance.

I'm thinking it's going to be they off Mitch first followed by Camila by fire.
Kyle, Joe and Eve battle it out in the end.
Kyle for the win.

I hope not because I have a serious dislike for lying lawyers.

Bam!
Lying lawyer wins again.
Title: Re: Survivor 48
Post by: Magicman on May 22, 2025, 07:42:03 AM
Last night was predictable but very disappointing.  Joe's downfall was believing Kyle's lies and not voting him off when he possibly had the chance.  Joe played an honorable game.

This series was probably the best that we have watched with no "woke" nor alphabet issues.  On the 49th preview I saw one alphabet guy that hopefully will not last long.

I did definitely enjoy this season.  I like it when all three of the finalists seem to have a chance.  My favorite moment was when Joe and Eva were discussing their "plotting" to vote out Shauhin.  I think the reveal by Kyle and Camilla that they set it up was what put Kyle over the top.

yup, voting mitch off instead of Kyle cost Joe $900,000 .
Title: Re: Survivor 48

Voting Shauhin off was the first fatal mistake.  Kyle and Kamela cooked up the Shauhin immunity farce and Joe believed it.
