I have 300' of all wood barricade fence that will last much longer with a rain shedding cap.
The 10' metal roof ridge caps cost $43-50 but a similar, metal 90 degree corner 10' long piece is only $23.
So I'm wondering if an aluminum brake from the rental center can bend backwards a 90 degree corner piece to become a 45 degree ridge cap piece ? I know that sequence is important when bending sheet metal so I'm not certain that a brake can simply reverse bend an already bent piece.
Anyone know if this would be possible? Thanks .

i'm by no means a metalworker so take it for what it's worth
i would make a 10' long cant with the angle on top and lay it down on the floor, put the metal profile on top of it and put a board on top and stand on it to reverse the brake.
angle and height of the cant will need some adjusting until you hit it right
A metal roofing supplier will bend anything that you want. I would talk with one before going any further.
