We had a pine tree drop in our backyard. 25 to 30 feet tall. 22in across the bottom of the trunk. Is it worth anything other than cutting up for mulch?

   Where are you located? 

    Is the tree sound/solid?

   It should be worth something but may be less that buying the lumber if you don't have or have access to a mill.

    Without that info we can't answer your question.

In our area, nobody would come to get one tree that size unless you pay them.  If you have the ability to take it to a mill, they might buy it.  But our local mills won't buy trees from anyone's yard because they likely contain nails or other hardware. 

If you don't have your own mill and can't move it, look around for someone with a portable mill.  They may or may not be willing to pay you something but might mill it on shares for you.  You'd end up with some lumber anyway.

Adding your location to your profile and a picture would help but just from your description I don't see much if any value vs expense.

 As others indicated, you don't have enough info for more solid opinions or advice. It comes down to what value that tree might provide for the amount of work and expense required and without the details and/or photos, we are forced to make guesses. There are many types of pine trees, not knowing your area, we can't even guess at that. A tree 22" on the stump but only 30 feet tall seems like it will have a lot of big leaders (branches) which brings any value way down, even for the owner.
 Bottom line is that to pick up any single tree is almost always not worth the cost unless it is a very special tree for some reason. Pine is rarely a very special tree.
 Of course if you have a mill yourself you probably would not be asking this question, you would know. Sounds like camp fire wood is the best use for this one unless there is a local hobby sawyer that would come get it, but again, don't expect to get any money for it.
