Looking to dispose of tree stumps from our over winter logging and clearing of my farm in the Grantham/Enfield area of NH. Probably up to 100 hardwood stumps. I have dump truck and can transport locally. I understand that burying and burning are options although labor intensive ones.. Any thoughts, suggestions appreciated. Thanks.  

I have this same issue as I cleared an acre for my house 2 years ago. I have close to a hundred stumps to dispose of.  I am fortunate enough to have a local company that will take them for $50 -$100 a trailer load or dump truck. Because of that, I will cut all the trunks off so that I can fit more on a load. Yes, I need to deliver as they won't pick them up. I believe that they grind them for mulch.

I always just burn mine. The dirt that comes out of the stumps and is now filled with ash is great for the garden. 

Weve got a local company that grinds them they charge you per ton (a small amount) to dump stumps down by the grinder they like them clean though. Perhaps you could find someone like that up your way.

I've been burning mine with the brush piles.
That burn area we have used for 20 years is now a garden.  The soil looks like Everglades dirt.  Also had the best garden ever last year. Even grew watermelon in northern Maine. Ask anyone who's tried.  ffcheesy
