Post by: Percy on June 11, 2005, 11:16:51 PM
Im sitting at the computer today, just a workin on the paper stuff(yetch) when the cell phone rings. Its Ron Morrisson(Minnesota Boy) who eamiled me a couple months ago and said he would be in the area. Well, he's gonna be here one week from today. Right now he and his wife are on Vancouver Island visiting their daughter.
He dont know it yet but Im gonna break him in on the LT70. Ill find a big hummer of a log and turn the Yankee loose on it and take a bunch of pics. Should be fun...stay tuned..

Percy's dead centre of two wide river valleys of the Skeena and the Kitimat (I think ;D ) Rivers. He's not far from some natural hot springs. Surrounded by some big mountains. :) Wind blows like to dickens up them valleys in the winter sometimes. I used to live west of there in Prince Rupert, and would sometimes travel to Terrace to get dried off, because it rained alot in Rupert. ;D I remember one area in Terrace where there was a grove of lodgepole pine straight as gun barrels growing in gravel. You guys should take out the fishing rods for some salmon fishing. :)

"Surrounded by some big mountains" Yep, the flatlander is in for an eyeful as long as it is not socked in. I imagine the rivers are too high and fast for fishing right now but there will be some trophy salmon in another month. I miss that area.
