Title: Computer user Interview
Post by: SwampDonkey on July 19, 2005, 07:20:43 AM
Got a call last night about 8:00 pm from a foreign individual asking me if I wanted to take part in a questionare about computer use. I said go for it.

First question: Did you buy a new computer in the last 12 months?

Answer: Nope

Second question: Do you plan to purchase a computer in the next 6 months?

Answer: Nope

Response from the other end of the line: This is the end of my interview.

click :D :D :D :D  I'm glad it was short

I was thinking afterward that is was some telemarketer for some upstart computer company.  ::)

Often an interview is a way to by-pass some of the don't call lists in the USA.

We don't have those lists here, we just usually hang up. :) :D

Last week I got a call from a feller looking for my father to repair his computer. I told him father didn't have a computer and wouldn't know how to turn one on. ;D :D

We don't have the lists, and we don't get the calls. We don't even have junk mail. All utility bills are handled at the bank.

When we do get local mail (rare) it is delivered to us by a guy on a motorcycle.

When we pay for cable, the guy shows up on a motorcyle and we pay him.
