Post by: breederman on October 01, 2005, 08:45:40 PM
I have a G.M. alternator and want to put it on a massey 135. I understand where the batt. wire goes, but what about the multi plug? Do those wires need to go any where? ???

One wire to hot (you can just loop it over to the batt terminal )the other has to go to a switch that will not feed juice back to the ignition . I put an oil pressure switch on my 820 to simlify things, It has closed contacts with the engine running. When The engine loses oil pressure the switch shuts down my alternator.

If you don't get the answer here, try the website www.tractorshed.com They are full of good info and links to parts, repairs and manuals.
