Title: Resources on wildlife habitat
Post by: J Beyer on August 29, 2002, 10:07:23 AM
Where can I get information on creating habitat and managing that habitat for certain wildlife besides my state's DNR?  I'm just looking for information as to what the more popular animals like for cover, food, nesting areas, trees, etc.

Thanks,

JB

Your State's DNR is an excellent source. Also contact your local Conservation District Forester; University of Wisconsin or Stevens Point Extension; or a professional Consulting Forester/Wildlife biologist serving your area.

Also read some of the recent Deer and Turkey magazines published in LoLo, Wisconsin.
