Title: Need a skidder!!!!!!
Post by: logger on October 08, 2005, 08:11:04 PM
My tractor finally got too small for logging, I need a skidder.  It doesen't matter what brand it is, Deere, timberjack, franklin, dosen't matter.  I am starting to cut and skid, before I used to just cut, so I need a skidder BADLY!!!!!!  Has to be 10,000 or under, because I can only afford that much.  ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!  Thanks. 8)

You'll be able to skid more wood with a 3-legged horse than you will with a $10,000 or less skidder.

Ever hear the phrase "worn out iron"?

Can you find skidders for $10,000 and under?  Sure!  You'll find machines with transmission cases held together with JB Weld, worn out center pins/bushings, leaky hydraulics, weak engines, weaker transmissions, no brakes, worn out tires, etc, etc.
