Title: Tooth setter
Post by: pasbuild on November 03, 2005, 10:42:14 PM
I want to make a tooth setter for my band blades, I know that a few of you have made your own and I was hoping you might share a few pics and maybe some details to make my job a little EZer.

Chet's got a good idea...setters are easy to make...just takes little time.

heres a pic of the of the one I made(https://forestryforum.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10896/Dsc00280a.jpg)
heres another view.(https://forestryforum.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10896/Dsc00282a.jpg)

Its 2 pcs. of angle iron welded together then 2 short pcs attached on top w/ one kept loose that the toggle clamp pushes on to clamp the blade to check the set w/ the indicator. It aint pretty but it works. I also plan on adding a advance lever of some sort.
