Title: best chain
Post by: minesmoria on November 09, 2005, 09:37:28 PM
I have a walkerized husky 359 with 24? bar, i am cutting logs from the log sort and some of the logs have some dirt on them.

I have full skip  chisel chain now, would chipper chain work better in dirty conditions.

I have some 72 AP from Bailey's that is suppose to work well in dirty conditions, have not had a chance to try it out since I got it today. Noticed that it is suppose to be ground at 35 degrees.

Round top (chipper) is not as fast, especially in frozen wood,  but is more forgiving in dirty conditions.
