Precision Saw Works in Polkton NC is an Excellent saw repair shop and has made blades for the 10" Peterson.  He repaired a couple of blades for me that met up with a horseshoe in a big oak log.  His phone # is xxxxxxxxx.  Frank Curran is the man there.  He is very knowledgable on saw operation and repairs.

Thanks for the contact info.  Hope I don't need him to do any blade repairs - but from what I've read on this forum it's bound to happen...

Troy,

The only question is when you will need a saw doctor not if you will need one.

For me, I needed one after my first custom saw job, lag bolts are unforgiving.

When you need one let me know, I found one that picks the blades up at my house on Wednesday and drops off the following Wednesday.

Thanks Mark,

I'll just stop by your house with my dinked up blade when it happens!  I ordered a third blade with my mill so when I have one in the shop there will still be a spare on hand.  I can just imagine that the second time will come when you are sawing for a client and your number one blade is at the saw doctors!

Aware of the sensitivities of cost involved with shipping parts around the world, we are currently reviewing suppliers to manufacture blades here in the states as well, built to the highest standards.  We should have an announcement after the first of the year.  Hey Chris, good to hear from you and thanks for the sawdoc information!!

Mark, how big a saw can your blade doctor handle?

Dan,

From what they have told me, they will work on any size blade.
