Title: Oregon Logging Conference, how's the machinery display
Post by: low_48 on January 09, 2006, 10:51:42 PM
Thinking about making the trip to the conference. Never been to Oregon either, so thinking about a great getaway as well.  I've been working on a business plan for converting urban waste trees to firewood and am wondering how big and what type of machinery is displayed at this show. Only milling and logging, or do they have grinders and firewood processors as well? Thanks!

Frank would probably be a better source, but last year there were both grinders and firewood processors.

What route will you be taking to get there?  Down I84?  If so, let me know and we can get some grits.

48, it is all covered, except the idea of coloring the barkdust and bailing long needle  pine droppings. :D
