I need to replace the timing belt on my wifes car (Honda). Started at it today but can't get the crank shaft pully bolt loose. Any ideas? Shaft turns counter clockwise so could it be a right handed (backward thread)?
Pulley should have a keyway. Probably tightened with one of them DanG air poundin wrenches. You may need one of those to get it loose.
Till if you disable the ingnation so it wont start then
put your socket and handle on the bolt. Put the handle
on the frame and have some one bump the starter you
will loosen the bolt or nut on the crankshaft.
Sawwood.
Thanks guys.
