Title: Took a quick vacation
Post by: breederman on February 19, 2006, 08:44:45 PM
Wifey and I both took the weekend  off and decided sat am to take a little trip to Lancaster Pa.  We had not been down in years.  had a great time,  We got such a late start that it was supper time when we got there so we headed right for The Good And Plenty to eat. It is family style and the food is still as great as we remembered. Had a nice chat with a couple from Baltimore that ate with us.
Headed out to Strusburgh this morning and checked out a few junk/antique shops.  I collect old tools and stuff,  picked up a 20 inch wooden screw clamp and a six and a half foot level! :o  we also bought a small sythe.
Four hours for dinner is quite a trip but it was good to get away for a day, we recomend it!

The Shady Maple is where it's at.  Good food there.  Definately a good stop if you are out that way.
