I know you are still grinning from ear to ear. It is alot of fun to open up a great big log with one, especially when you get a whole wide face open and see all the beautiful grain and color in there.
Teenswinger and I cut one big log yesterday that we got 642 bdft. out of that one log. It took us about 90 min. from start to finish. It was cutting real well and we were making alot of sawdust and boards.
Enjoy yourself,
Jeff
Way to go Tracy! Spend some time now reading over the instructions on posting pictures before you start sawing again or we will never see any photos from you! It is hard to stop sawing long enough to think about taking more photos or getting them posted. I've got to get some done this weekend myself. Have fun!
Congrats on the new mill. 8) 8) 8)
Wait'll ya cut yer first table slab. I cut one for the workers at the farm in Costa Rica. They couldn't believe you can cut a wide table slab with an 8" blade.
Like has been said, post photos soon, or, we won't get to see any from you because of sawing.
I left my camera at home 100 miles away, this time. :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ ::) ::)
Congratulations & welcome aboard Tracy!!
Looking forward to the pics & remember we are only a phone call or email away if you need anything.
Enjoy!! ;)
Congrats on the saw! Someday, I'll get the saw of my dreams. I'm still happy though, just not real fast! ;D
