Title: Thinking Caps on! Solved. Spanish Chestnut.
Post by: KiwiCharlie on November 07, 2002, 12:23:29 AM
G'day Guys,

I'll start with an easy one!!  This ones an exotic tree, not native to NZ, and should be fairly easy for you guys (well I think you must get these in your neck of the woods!)
Pic of the leaves today, next will be bark, and then the ringer! (if needed)

Cheers

G'day Guys,

No right guesses yet, so I will put up the second picture of the bark on this tree.  It gets quite large and does produce a crop once a year.....

Have another go.
