Title: My new hat
Post by: Jeff on April 05, 2006, 02:25:02 PM
Figuratively speaking that is. :)   "Ad copy guy" ? :D

Captain asked me if I could like to try and come up with the ad copy for the www.swingmills.com  website for ad(s) to be placed in the upcoming issue of Sawmill and Woodlot Magazine. Since I aint smart enough to be scared of nothin 'cept thumper I said sure, why not.  I was limited to shades of two colors and had a lot of stuff to work into a minimal space, but I think we did it.  I even snuck a picture of me into them. ;D Nobody will know it accept you, but the dude on the right in the little pic of the big saw is me.

I'm waiting now for Don Staples to step in and say say that no way can I be made that small. :D

Anyhow I am pretty honored that Captain would ask me to do the work for him.

Don, I think even you would have to call that a Texas size sawblade.

Submitted, accepted, and off to the presses.... :)

Thanks for taking on the project, Jeff.  I'm having time management problems, can't manage to find enough time to do everything....

Jeff,
I think you need to keep making sawdust as a hobby, but go fulltime on the computer stuff.  Those electrons like you a lot.  Now get busy and make up one of those ads for your advertising/web authoring/ webmaster business and go for it.  I have never seen any advertisements that looked better and most don't look as good.

Captain,
It's time to hire you some employees to help you run this new empire that is quickly coming your way.  You are off to a good start.  Just make sure your new employees appreciate what you have learned about providing good customer service.

In my as always humble opinion,
Jim
